Eyelash extensions are any number of enhancements designed to add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. They may be compared to hair extensions for one's eyelashes. They can be separated into two types: temporary and semi-permanent.

Types of lashes: Temporary false lashes are any lashes designed to be worn for a short period;

i.e. a day or less. They can be made with man-made hair, or with synthetic materials. They are not designed to be worn when showering, sleeping or swimming. They are applied with lash glue designed specifically for temporary lashes. Permanent lashes, also known as eyelash extensions, are lashes applied with a stronger adhesive. Generally, a single lash is applied to each natural lash; when applied properly, neither the extension lash nor the glue should touch the eyelid; however, slight irritation and watering of the eye may occur if the glue does come into contact with the eye.

 The bond is designed to last until the lashes naturally fall out, though the extensions may fall out faster if one uses oil-based eye makeup remover or rubs eyes regularly, as oil weakens the bond between the glue and the lash.

For both types, eyelashes come in various lengths, colours and thicknesses, from natural-looking to outrageous.

 The two most popular styles are doll lashes, consisting of longer lashes at the centre of the lash line, and cat-eye lashes, where the end lashes are longer to create a cat-like eye. A set of new eyelash extensions depending on the type and number of lashes used, the skill of the cosmetician and the venue where extensions are performed. It usually takes an hour to two hours to attach a full new set. An average person might have anywhere from thirty to eighty lashes per eye.

The variance in the number of lashes accounts for the difference in how long it takes to apply them.

Many eyelash extension packages come with repair options, where one can go get the fallen

extensions added within a few weeks from the initial application, at a lowered cost.

The other day, I had my virgin experience on eyelash perming with them.

I wasn’t blessed with really long healthy looking lash. Most of the time I rely on mascara curler to get my lash “AWAKE”. For people who might already have long lashes, but they are a little heavy that it tends to weigh down the eyes or their lashes looked rather untamed can consider Eyelash perming.

Here the ugly truth of my naked eyes.

The specialist brushes my lash and placed the lash roller on my eyelid.

She started applying some solution and let it rested awhile before removing the white roller off my eyes. Yes, it’s definitely painless! I really feel safe having them to deal with my face as I knew they are really responsible and honest with the products they used for customer.

Eyelashes is super delicate, some salon I heard off actually damage their lashes at the end of the service or in the mid of curling it. When I say damage, it’s literally BURNED or the lashes are sticking up together. Well I shall let the image do the talking!

So know what you pay for is to look good or to make it worst..all lies on your choices.

I trust Best Beauty. As by far, I have yet to experience any discomfort or concerns during the treatment and even after the treatment. Everything is doing fine.  NOT because im blogging for them so I have to boast. The fact that if something goes wrong, I wouldn’t be here advertising for them. I would be looking for them to take up responsibility and probably I’ll be updating on my “recovery stages”instead.

The Specialist prep my lashes for the extension. Consulted me on the type of lashes I am looking at. After that, she shown me the length and the fibre that she will be using for my eyes. Cleanse, dry & brush…and we are ready to start.

She paste an eye cover over and started adding the fibre hair(with glue) on my eyelid.

 OMG! See see see…the difference.. It’s extremely long and thick yet so natural.
